climax 60 fly reel Sage 6010 Thoughts on this rod fly rod primary target species__Calico Bass Size:Lucky green 4-6wt

Thoughts on this rod in a 9 wt? Fishing the Situk in Alaska for steelhead this April. I have a Sage 8 wt but am being told it's a little light. : r/ flyfishing

Also read the instruction manual, it does not set up like a conventional reel

primary target species__Calico Bass

Size:Lucky green 4-6wt

I especially like the easy to tighten, wide uplocking ring with a plastic ring, which gives a good solid lockup on your reel
