Gund: Pusheenicorn - Rainbow Cat 13" Ozzy composed from "scraps" with abruptly
Description
composed from "scraps" with abruptly shifting personnel - a situation only compounded by the impending dissolution of their label at the time
yet it holds together with a late-night woozy consistency while veering from AM-radio jazz ("You Can Never Hold Back Spring") to folk ("Widow's Grove")
to go with "Shine On You Crazy Diamond
The original soundtrack from John Wayne's American epic historical war film Alamo (1960)
Inspired by conversations with a recently deceased friend about negative space and a sense of music's increasingly banal density
