Vintage Pavement "Sunny-Side Up!" '95 T-Shirt Afrocentric PA formed in 1987By 1995, Pavement were, perhaps, at the height of their powers. They released their third album, Wowee Zowee, with longtime label Matador. They had already played on late night TV, been featured in Rolling Stone magazine, and adored by a legion of slacker fans across the globe. While the last half of the 1990s proved to be a difficult era for the band, with inner turmoil eventually leading to a breakup in 1999, 1995 was still peaceful and productive.
