Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2020 Release Retailer:1007 Aged for 2 years inWhen MM decided to make their first blend, they wanted to heighten their vanilla and caramel notes. They did that by finishing the Straight Bourbon (70% Corn, 16% Wheat, 14% Malted Barley) in barrels enriched with SE4 and PR5 oak staves. The staves are a marriage of virgin French oak and toasted American oak, respectively.
