Opuntia microdasys pallida Size:15-25cm funnel-like coronasOpuntia microdasys var. pallida is beloved for its pale, lime green pads that contrast vividly with bright golden yellow dots. The botanical name pallida refers to the lighter, fresher green tone of the pads compared to the standard species. It forms a dense, shrubby mound over time and is armed with the same deceptive glochids as other Opuntias. Ideally, position this cactus in a bright, sunny location to ensure the yellow glochids remain vibrant.
