Callas, Maria - Signed Photo in La Vestale Rehearsal 1975 Autographs Actresses - Letter L small crease at bottom leftStar Greek American soprano (1923 1977), wonderful, rare photograph showing her in November 1954, during rehearsals for the La Scala production of "La Vestale". This was the famous production of Luchino Visconti, the first of 5 opera productions he would do with Callas. Callas is discussing with 3 conductors: Arturo Toscanini on the left, Victor de Sabata, standing and facing front, and conductor of this production Antonino Votto, seen from behind.
